*Wonder Boy* (1951), also known as *The Wonder Kid*, is a British drama directed by Karl Hartl. The film tells the story of Sebastian Giro, a 10-year-old French musical prodigy who is exploited by his manager, Mr. Gorik. After being mistreated, Sebastian is "kidnapped" by his governess and taken to a remote Alpine village, where he experiences freedom and happiness away from his exploitative circumstances.
