DESCRIPTION:

Gerald Meldrick (Clark Gable) and Anya Von Duren (Rosalind Russell) have a lot in common. They're both jewel thieves. And they're both after the same rock, the fabulous Star of Asia. So they team up - in crime, in love, and in comic adventure that has them jumping on a tramp steamer to elude cops, swindling a Hong Kong merchant prince to nab some cash and battling advancing Japanese
troops to strike a blow in World War II. Buoyed by a top cast, Gable and Russell handle quips, kisses and danger with equal aplomb.
