The Mesquiteers use a charity show to help raise the necessary funds and attempt to expose the real cattle thieves.

The third installment in Republic's Three Mesquiteers series, which produced fifty-one films in just eight years, Roarin' Lead features the precocious children of Los Angeles' famous Meglin School as the unfortunate residents of the Buena Vista Orphanage.
