DESCRIPTION:

Texas Ranger Tex Duncan goes undercover, joining Doc Aikman's Medicine Show as a sharpshooter so that he can investigate a series of robberies that seems to follow the troupe from town to town. Before he can discover who is involved in the crimes, his cover is blown. The outlaws gun down an innocent man and make it appear that the bullet came from Tex's pistol. With Tex behind bars for murder, the crooks prepare to rob the Wells Fargo office.

Executive producer Stan Laurel presents operatic baritone Fred Scott starring as Texas Ranger Tex Duncan in this Spectrum Pictures production. Singing cowboy Scott headlined 13 Spectrum westerns beginning with Romance Of The Range (1936) and retired after starring in PRC's Rodeo Rhythm (1942). He then went on to a successful career as a Los Angeles realtor and retired to Palm Springs where he was a board member of the Palm Springs Art Museum.
