Based on the 1955 hit play by Emlyn Williams, Night Must Fall is the second of M-G-Ms two screen adaptations. The 1937 original stars Robert Montgomery and Rosalind Russell with Dame May Whitty as Mrs. Bramson, the role she created on stage.
