In his first feature film, renowned Italian comedian Totò portrays a penniless vagabond who, after being evicted from a condemned building, becomes the guardian of a young orphan girl. To make ends meet, he takes various odd jobs, including working as a masseuse in a beauty salon. Through a series of comedic misadventures, he inadvertently becomes a hero and discovers his noble heritage.
