Broadway gossip columnist Gilbert Archer (Lee Bowman, Cover Girl) is stunned to find out that his best friend, a local priest, has been found dead in what looks like a suicide. But Gilbert believes that his friend has been murdered, and that a new girl in town (Marguerite Chapman, The Seven Year Itch) might be a suspect.
