DESCRIPTION:

Eddie Cantor, master of music and mirth, stars as Eddie Simpson, put-upon assistant to phony psychic Yolando (Charles Middleton). When Yoldano sets his sights upon A.B. Clarks (Spencer Charters) art deco bakery (Glorifying the American Doughnut), Eddie is accidentally mistaken for an efficiency expert. While dodging the ministrations of fitness fanatic Helen Morgan (Charlotte Greenwood), Eddie ends up guiding the bakery to soaring profits and a hefty bonus -- which leads Yolando and his henchman Joe (George Raft) to suspect a double cross. Among the ladies of the lovely Goldwyn Girls chorus may be found Betty Grable, Paulette Goddard, Virginia Grey, and Toby Wing. Musical sequences directed and choreographed by Busby Berkeley.
