The underage Rosemarie is still too young to run their farm alone , but that her foster father and manager , the farmer Schlieker , constantly wirtschaftet into his own pocket , but it recognizes . In order to put an end Schliekers bustle , Rosemarie asks her godfather , Professor Kittgus to help . As Kittgus Schlieker confronts , shows this is unreasonable and even violent . Rosemarie brings the horrified Kittgus under a forest hut , where she made the acquaintance of Dr. Wolters . While Schlieker plotting against Rosemarie and Kittgus , Rosemarie lovingly maintains the farmer's wife , who is expecting a child . When Ms. Schlieker moves to the city to see a doctor , her husband returns home and believes that his wife had left him with Rosemary's help . Enraged he lights revenge Rosemary Court , but the fire is extinguished just in time from Kittgus and Wolters .
