Why don’t you have ...?
We only offer classic movies (pre-1980) that have not been commercially released and are in the public domain. We only sell public domain movies. Due to the rarity of these movies please forgive any minor natural imperfections in the films themselves.
What is public domain?
A work has entered public domain because either the copyright has not been applied for or it has expired. Anything that is not protected under the copyright law can include works published between 1928 and under certain circumstances works published up to 1978. Re-published and re-packaged public domain information or creative works are not illegal. The reason is that because the work has fallen into the public domain there are no royalties to pay on the work.
