In this wartime drama, set in England during early WW II, a rich young man

becomes a conscientious objector because he cannot bear the thought

of killing. He marries a governess at his mansion so that she can remain

in the country. He doesn't know that she is a Nazi spy. Because of his

objections, the young man is assigned to work on a farm. Meanwhile his

treacherous wife continues her work. Her true identity is revealed when

the Germans attempt to bomb a secret airstrip near their mansion. In the

end, the objector kills his wife and becomes a member of the RAF.
