DESCRIPTION:
"B" cowpoke Wild Bill Elliott wound down his film career portraying LAPD Lt. Andy Doyle in this series of second-bill suspensers from Allied Artists. An escaped institutionalized veteran looks like the likely suspect when his ex-wife is found dead, but Andy has other ideas, in "Dial Red '0'" (1955). Paul Picerni, Jack Kruschen also star. Doyle thinks a sportswear maker's ruled suicide is anything but, and his suspicion falls upon the victim's blind son (Tom Drake), in "Sudden Danger" (1955). Beverly Garland co-stars. Doyle hunts for a serial killer who dispatches his victims via car bomb in "Calling Homicide" (1956). Don Haggerty, Jeanne Cooper co-star.
