The Narrow Trail (1917, B&W, Silent): """"Ice"""" Harding robs the stage but is smitten with pretty passenger Betty Werdin, who is traveling west with her uncle 'Admiral' Bates. Pledging to reform, so that he might be worthy of the hand of a decent girl, he follows her to San Francisco. There, at a tawdry saloon run by Bates, he is shocked to discover that Betty is the queen of the dime-a-dance trollops. Disgusted, he rides off on a self-destructive binge. But fate will present the star crossed lovers with a final chance at redemption. Wagon Tracks (1919, B&W, Silent): Buckskin Hamilton rides East to the Missouri River to meet his younger brother Billy, who has just graduated from medical school. He arrives to find the boy dead, and is told that he was accidentally shot by Jane Washburn. After burying his brother, Buckskin is hired to lead a wagon train west and Jane and the Washburn family are travelers. As the train winds its way through the mountains, Jane and Buckskin fall in love. Finally she reveals her terrible secret - Billy was actually murdered by a man who is traveling with this very same group of settlers!
